Profitable metal giftware personalisation and direct parts marking

Perfect for gift personalisation or industrial parts marking, the METAZA MPX-95 compact engraver is an affordable, easy-to-operate device ideal for users of all level of experience to mark gold, platinum, silver, copper, stainless steel, titanium, brass and more.

Without debris, noise or odour the MPX-95 makes it easier than ever to add photo-realistic images, text, logos and data to metal surfaces.

Ideal for use in-store, at home, or in workshop, lab or classroom environments.

Personalise hundreds of metal items

With the MPX-95 it’s possible to customise a huge range of consumer and corporate gifts, mementoes and keepsakes, including:

• Pens and stationery
• Spectacles and sunglasses
• Jewellery, watches and cufflinks
• Pet tags
• Hipflasks and tankards
• Vases and urns
• USB sticks and smart devices
• Trinket boxes
• Key fobs
• Trophy plates
• Lighters
• Cutlery, and more.

Added versatility with removable base and Gift Kit

The MPX-95 introduces new features for imprinting onto more gift items and a wider range of components. These include a removable base plate and base unit to allow imprinting onto larger items, and an optional Gift Kit for expanding profit-making personalisation possibilities.

Gift Kit includes:

• Movable sliding centre vice with clamp pins
Uniquely position different-sized clamp-pins to hold irregular-shaped items. The adaptable clamp-pin set-up supports repeat personalisation of items such as pet tags and jewellery plus cylindrical items like tankards, flasks and drinks bottles.

• Centre vice
Enables quick set-up and personalisation of items when imprinting onto many different items in succession.

• Head caps
Thirty rounded head caps are included for imprint use on curved and irregular surfaces.

Variable data imprinting

Import variable data (as txt or csv file) into the included Dr. Engrave software and automatically apply serial numbers, data and names to each item in a giftware series. Or add unique security numbers to expensive jewellery items.

Compact, portable design

The fully-enclosed MPX-95 is a compact and portable device that runs quietly, cleanly and safely. It can be taken anywhere and used to produce souvenirs at weddings, craft fairs, pet shows and other events.

Industrial applications

The MPX-95 is ideally suited for industrial applications such as the production of nameplates and serial number plates. The included software helps you quickly print a range of variable data, such as sequential serial numbers.

Imprint photographs, vector graphics and text

A durable diamond-tipped stylus strikes the material at high speed and with precision to reproduce the most delicate gradations and intricate fonts on a wide range of hard materials. The results are exceptional, with highly reflective detailed graphics, fine text and complex data patterns.

Integrated laser pointer delivers pinpoint positioning accuracy for faster setup

A built-in laser pointer accurately defines the origin point on media before imprinting. At the touch of a button, users can set the print position for accurate positioning of the engraving every time, reducing the risk of alignment errors and material wastage.

Easy-to-use software included

The following intuitive bundled software enables production right out of the box:

METAZAStudio
Import and edit files from EPS, JPEG or BMP formats, or directly from digital cameras, scanners and smartphones. Add text, borders and backgrounds, and rotate text and images. METAZAStudio also supports text and line art in vector format.

Dr. Engrave
Featuring TrueType fonts and an automatic layout feature for importing Excel and CSV files, Dr. Engrave supports production of variable data projects.

Combine with other devices for ultimate personalisation potential

Used in combination with a print & cut device (VersaSTUDIO BN-20 or TrueVIS series) or UV-LED printer (VersaUV LEF range), the MPX-95 can extend the number of graphic applications and personalisation solutions you can produce for the giftware market.

Highest standard of quality, reliability and support

A 1 year manufacturer’s warranty and industry-leading customer service ensures that your device is always up and running.

Conditions when imprinting curved surfaces
Choose material when imprinting on a curved surface taking into consideration the following limitations. These figures show the imprinting area possible for a curved surface and the area that the marking pin can reach with respect to the diameter of the cylinder when the head cap (CAP-HEAD MPX-90) is attached to the head unit. However, these limitations do not assure the quality of the photographic image.

Diameter of cylinder with extended curved surface (ϕ) Recommended imprint area (A) Area reached by the marking pins (B)
10 mm (0.4 in.) 2.0 mm (0.08 in.) 2.8 mm (0.11 in.)
20 mm (0.8 in.) 2.8 mm (0.11 in.) 4.0 mm (0.16 in.)
30 mm (1.2in.) 3.4 mm (0.14 in.) 4.8 mm (0.19in.)
